101.00 Autodetect video performance 100.11 Date correction 100.10 Fix order sort to tv style showing 100.01 Quick fix for Fox website major rework, more to come 100.00 Removed the ALL and made all clips the starting point of playing all following clips from a single launch - no longer need ps3 autoplay and xbox should work 11.11 Added ALL clip to at start of shows that allows all clips to be streamed from a single launch (Xbox should like this) 11.10 Switch to Dynamic folders to force updates, also added force reload folder, add dynamic folder to contain latest folder so it updates 11.01 Strip new CNAME wrapper added to xml by fox 11.00 Fix missing latest videos due to menu change 10.11 Shows now are prpoer time sequence over a day, adjusted for east coast time - this fixes a problem with Oreilly and others crossing the hour boundary I tried to use last time 10.10 With new 0.9 of the script plugin, we now have the ability to set the timestamp on videos - it helps a little knowing when news is happening. 10.01 Normally, videos are listed in latest first mode; this update causes the videos under the category "Shows" to be ordered in earliest first on an hourly basis, with latest first across hours. Experimental, but makes watching Orielly and Beck a little more enjoyable on a PS3 with autoplay setting. 10.00 Updated due to website format change, also change from flv to mp4 video 1.11 Clean up text display to map xml codes to proper symbols 1.10 Vastly improved performance, thanks to hottamale for feedback that made a huge difference! 1.01 Cleaned up code a bit 1.00 There are odd problems I dont understand, but it seems to work fairly well. I like watching fox news, so this was a must for me. Reviews
bobisms wrote Here's a summary of what I've done;
If you launch the first clip, that clip and all following clips are merged into a single video stream sent to your PS3/XBOX/etc. No further action needed to watch all clips.
If you launch the second clip, all clips except the first clip are merged into a single video stream and sent to your device.
The clips are time sorted as follows; top clip is earliest clip for today, followed by all later clips in time order during today, then yesterdays earliest clip followed by yesterdays later clips etc.
Fast forward seems to work pretty well across clips, though occasionally you might decide to back out of the clip stream and start a later clip manually.
My goal was to recreate the television experience as much as possible, any feedback appreciated! ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() 2010-08-19 15:26:52bobisms wrote Much of the credit goes to hottamale for pointing out the problem with the script! I too am very pleased with the new release, as I'm certain I'm the biggest user. :) ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() 2009-12-17 18:51:26 |
