With the recent demise of megauploads and possibly a few others, I would suggest everyone here get on ANY list to stop this bill from being passed.
Looks to me as if it pretty much will be the end of PlayOn. Scripts that we have all been using are already being rendered useless.
I guess I can always go back to Netfux and renting DVDs from Redbox...
I really don't like the way things are looking and none of these bills have passed yet!

i will subscribe to sat before i go back to netflix. i started with them and it was 8.00 a month for unlimited streaming videos and 1 cd to watch as many times as i could mail it back every month. soon after they raised the price to 10.00, then they said you can get streaming for 10.00 but if you want the cd also it would be aditional 10.00. that was a start of 8.00 and then a rate hike to 20.00 in one year in the time that i had service with them. of course they got cancelled from my auto pay credit card. they probably knew that the free sites are going to get ran away and that's why they think they can charge whatever they want.

here are some of the results from the petition of sopa and pipa, looks like some elected officials are a little nervous.
-4.5 million people signed Google's anti-SOPA/PIPA petition, according to the Los Angeles Times
-25 Senators now oppose PIPA (the Senate version of SOPA), according to OpenCongress
-Twitter saw more than 2.4 million SOPA-related tweets between midnight and 4 p.m. Eastern on Wednesday
-Two SOPA co-sponsors and several others dropped support for the House bill
-More than 162 million people saw Wikipedia's protest page
-More than 8 million people used Wikipedia's search tool to look up their elected representatives' contact information
-News Corp. Chairman and CEO Rupert Murdoch accused "the blogosphere" of "terrorizing many senators and congressmen who previously committed" to SOPA and PIPA.
-Conservative publication The National Review called on Congress to dump SOPA

Please no one think this is over, SOPA and Pipa will be back. The ppl that hate the internet won't stop trying to kill it. Mega will be back its just moving domains. So the fight will continue. Call your representatives, get your voice heard and remember to vote.
