The web based Script Maker I created was pretty good, but it's limited by the environment it's deployed in. So I decided to create a more robust Windows version. This version will be much more powerful in the long run.
Comments, suggestions, problems? Post them here, so I can get this thing working better.

At this time it's in a functioning beta state. If anyone is interested in testing out the installer will be added shortly.

Just a heads up to anyone developing with the current beta: The next release will probably alter the saved project template, so do not build any huge projects with it because it won't be loadable in the next release.

I've developed 4 or 5 scripts so far and it's unbelievably easy and convenient. As I'm developing these scripts I'm tweaking things to make developing scripts easier, and also coming up with new "plugins" for the program.
Expect a new release soon.

I don't know if I discovered a problem or not but:
When I create a video parser the line "start = a[3] + 1" isn't there. If I save the script I'm working on and then add the line to the script with notepad then the script will work properly.
What happens is the script will pull 500 copies of the same video file from a site without the line. When I add it in manually it will pull the proper amount of links to videos from the site.

It's probably my total ignorance of how to properly use the program and Lua coding.
Only *.lua, *.luacomp, *.llf, *.llfcomp, *.zip, *.txt, *.plugin, *.dll, *.dat, *.png, *gif, and *.jpg files are allowed to be uploaded.
So to get around this, I'll change the file extension to .txt You can rename it back to .smlp when you get it.

Nice update! Fixed that issue with the missing code. But , now I have a new problem. The saved script will not play any of the videos it links to.
When I run it on a WD Live TV Hub the hub refuses to play ANY video until I reset the Hub
When I run it on WD Live TV Plus it refuses to play the video and tells me it's not a compatable format
When I run it on a Seagate FreeAgent Plus it just quits trying to play the video and returns me to the list
When I use the built in player everything plays fine....
Attached the project file for your review. You'll need to change the extension again tho...
Also, probably something I'm doing wrong, when I create a Dynamic Folder and link a video parser to it I get an error in the code that says
Value cannot be null.
Parameter name: input
I can't figure this out. Should I even be using dynamic folders for what I'm trying to do?
This is not included in the project file as it's just something I wanted to ask about...
I like the script maker a lot it allows even a novice like me to create these scripts pretty much on the fly!!!

I took a look at it and it plays find for me. Try selecting a video, then after it fails, wait 30 seconds, and select the same video again.
Also, damn. That's a lot of objects. I did not envision anyone adding that many. So you're going to hit a wall at 100 items. It's the hard code limitation. I will raise it in the next release, but consider breaking the script up into smaller single scripts. Especially the MSNBC portion because it requires a different size player window. The video is really out of whack.
I forgot to update the Dynamic Folder plugin when I reworked the whole plugin system. It'll be fixed in the next release, but you only need to use this folder type when you need to constantly refresh the folder's contents (most of the time you won't need to do this).
