Hello to the developer,
I have used this script for quite sometime with no issues. But as of 3 weeks ago all I get is no files found in every movie folder. I get the movie folders with the titles. Also my New releases tries to update but doesn't find anything and come backs empty. This happens on both my PS3 and my Roku
things I have tried in all kinds of variation including uninstalling playon deleting all folders and create a freash install.
I have tried all tips for all scripts that seem to have this issue.
I deleted and reloaded Veehd.lua
I have update playon itself.
I have deleted and downgraded upto 3 revisions back of playon trying each version.
Deleted all support files in the script folder.
Cleared the cache folder.
Please Help!! this was (is?) my favorite scipt.
Thanks for any help you can offer.

Ok...my hard drive crashed and has now been replaced and restored.
PlayOn was reinstalled
Scripts were reinstalled
VeeHd will allow SOME files to be added to Favorites but not every one that I tell it to.
Deleted VeeHD.lua and all the files in the script folder that began with VeeHD.
Edited the registry and removed VeeHD
Restarted PlayOn server
Stopped playOn server
Added VeeHD.lua
Started PlayOn server
Loaded VeeHD and all files got rebuilt
Still can't add ANY file I select to favorites. VeeHD only adds the ones I select if it want's to.
What else might I be doing wrong???

I have a Roku 2 XS and when I get into VeeHD I can connect to it fine, I can browse by letter, and the movies even come up, but once I click on a particular movie it says that the folder is empty. And, this happen for every single listing. I know you cannot support every configuration out in the world, but it seems that other Roku owners have experienced this as well. I am new to PlayOn, and I just added some third party scripts the other day to see how they worked. Some work fine and others, like VeeHD, just give me nothing but problems.
Any advice would be much appreciated. I am a computer network admin, so I know about configuring my router and how to tweak most of the devices required for this to work, so please let me know if there is something I can do to get this working and believe me, I will follow the directions and get it working (if in fact there is just something wrong with my configuration).
Thanks in advance for any possible solution.

Hi Jake, it looks like a library file for VEEHD didn't load properly please go into your scripts folder delete all the files that end in .llf then please reboot your pc,your router, and playon when you do this playon will see that it needs the library files and redownload them automatically this should fix your issue any further questions please don't hesitate to ask welcome to the group and enjoy playon !

Thanks a lot, Jester. And, believe me, if I can get this working I will definitely make a donation via PayPal. The hard work you guys do for all of us is so very much worth whatever we can afford to keep us well entertained.
I will follow your instructions and see if that resolves the problem. THANKS AGAIN!!!

Well, Jester, I followed your instructions and I still have the same results. It is very strange. When I go into the Database Maintenance and Check the Size of the DB, it shows 11,079 entries, but when I go into the Create Movie DB (Comprehensive) it tells me that The selected item has no folders (which is what I get when I try to view any of the movies).
This has to be something with the Roku, my version of the hardware, or something in my configuration. I am running Win 7 (64-bit) on an ASUS laptop (i7 proc, 8GB RAM, two 500GB hard drives, with a Netgear N router - WNDR3300, and most of the other channels/scripts work fine). If you or anyone else has any suggestions, I would appreciate it. I simply don't know what else to try at this point. Because it connects to the PC fine and I can get all the way into the VeeHD channel, listing everything fine...up until I click on a specific movie, there has got to be an explanation, but I just don't know enough about how this script works to understand where the disconnect is occurring.
Thanks to anyone who can help. Cheers...

I was sorry to see that no one else had any suggestions as to how I might get this script working on my Roku. I am going to try it on another device to see if it can be successfully run there (Wii, Android, or Xbox 360 perhaps).
Please, if anyone has the new Roku 2 and has had any success running the VeeHD, I would be so very grateful for any info on how I might get it running properly.
Thanks a lot.

Well, I just tried it on the other devices and it had the same outcome. Since I am running the Trial Version on the PlayOn software, would that restrict me in any way?! If I can get all these scripts running (or at least the majority of them), I will purchase PlayOn, but I can't see doing it if all the features are not working.
Thanks again.

Is there any way this script could be updated?
I "think" it's the cause of my PlayOn server stopping.

it's working a la Navi-X in XBMC, so it may just be plug-in related.
And I see this was constructed by Guitaroomasta who has been MIA.

I think the Now Playing In Theaters and the Now Playing On DVD got hosed up because the script calls to http://www.moviefone.com/new-movie-releases for a list and they have changed something on the page and that messed up the script.
I sure wish someone would just write a new version it's a great site and I liked being able to add users there to a list as well as adding your own catagories.
There are other problems with it too. It's stopping my server so I've had to remove it. It just needs updated....or re written.
