I have a megavideo premium account, but I dont think it works, streaming so slow with stutter, if I play from videobb it works as a charm, have entered my megavideo account in all scripts, whats wrong?

hnorgaar,i have had a lifetime megavideo account for over two years and been using playon with it for about a year or so and ive never had any issues with it is there something else that may be causing a stream to get lost when using it o your pc ie bad internet connection? a taxed out cpu or anything else that you might think would cause the stream to slow? please post some of your pc specs and how you are using playon what devices are you sing to stream? please give us a little more information about the problems you are having so we may trouble shoot your system thanks and have a good day

i watched i robot on megavideo and noticed that it was stuttering quite a bit, but i let it sit on pause for a while to catch up and it played fine. when the megavideo stuff is not working, it wont play longer than the first 2 seconds at all, so i agree that its probably connectivity more than anything.
Also - with the options, you have to set the options on the individual script and on 5starscripts to work- so be sure that you entered your account in both places.
btw im at home today and working on this tv shows area.. the website changed and of course they broke the hardest part of the script.. so thats what is taking so long.i'm going to get it though

hopefully your tv shows area will start working again when you run the updater in 5starflicks. be sure to restart after testing!

Hi Sedric,
Great script! I got it a couple of days ago and everything was working great and then last night the folders started coming upy as empty and then got the incompatible script message. I tried deleting the lib files that you suggested and still says empty, even deleted everything and reinstalled and now the tvmovielinks folders are all still saying empty. Not sure how to resolve this. I am using windows 7 with roku.
Let me know what to do...

Hey Whyte,
I tried the update like you suggested but the folders in movietvlinks still say empty folder. Really strange, they all worked the first two days then lost them. As mentioned, I even reinstalled the program and they are still empty.
Also, when i click on the options tab on any of the5star scripts under settings, plugins in playon it says error: "an object referrence not set to an instance of an object"
Two differnent problems that I can't figure out.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Riggs- if you cannot enter the options menu, you may need to perform the following step for any specific script where this is occurring:
1) Press "Windows Key+R" and type "regedit"
2) Navigate to "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINESOFTWAREMediaMallMediaMallPluginsScripts"
3) Delete the folder "moviestvlinks.lua" (and any others where the options box isnt working
I will test out the script in a sec to see if everyone is having the same issue with the mentioned scripts.

^^ i confirmed that they completely changed the website for the moviestvlinks area, which means i will have to rewrite this script.
as for m2k - this one is working for me, so you may need to either run the update or restart playon for that one abidali52
riggs - you should still perform that step I mentioned above to fix your options dialog.

Hi Sedric,
I cannot find any mediamall folder under HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE SOFTWARE folder. I triple checked this and it there isn't one there.
Let me know...
Also, any idea on whats going on with the empty folder issue in movietvlinks?

Hi Sedric,
I figured out the problem with the options error: I tried the options going through the PlayLater settings which doesn't work even though they display; I went through the PlayOn settings and they work there.
However, I deleted the Movietvlinks already in the regedit which didn't solve it, is there any problem with having deleted that?

riggs - nope, as it will rebuild itself in the registry.
As for the movietvlinks area, i have to rewrite the script due to website changes so it will be a while (at least the weekend) before i can get that done. Check out the other movie scripts within the lounge until then as they are all pretty cool sites

in m2k adult version sockshare and putlocker adult movies folders empty all time just work megavideo in every folder just for 1 second ... and i dont have megavideo premium. putlocker sockshare empty all time .
but it just happened for just adult movies in m2k normal movies putlocker works great
but adult section all folders empty putlocker n sockshare please help me what i do ?thanks

Hi Sedric - I'm having a problem restarting the server in the update - You said it will look like an error occured and should take about a minute. It's been 15 and it's still showing "Restart Server", "Retrieving" and a static progress bar. Right now all of the TV folders are empty.

exit playon restart playon from your pc also try turning your pc and also your router off and back on again this usually fixes most problems

Since the MovieTVLinks isn't working , I tried to use the Potlucker movies last night and most of them were coming up empty folder too; not sure what is going on. Figured I would let you know.

I cannot use the script to reset the server either; I realized it is due to the security settings on my PC, where Zi have to click the window to allow playon to make changes to my syatem (e.g., start, stop, etc.). Not sure but maybe that is your issue too.
I have to restart the server from my computer, because i don't want to lower my security level/settings.

interesting- i used the putlocker stuff just last night and it worked here. theres something else going on riggs but not quite sure yet. i may need your log files.
