Thanks a lot! Also, I just discovered a "problem" with the PC version of Navi-X and lucked out finding a work around. Not sure how this relates to the PlayOn plugin. You can lock out particular categories and subcategories, but if you don't assign a password, there apparently isn't a default one. And you can't use your login pw. So as far as the PC workaround, here's what I discovered:
Navigate to:
C:\Documents and Settings\YOUR CPU NAME\Application Data\XBMC\addons\Navi-X\src
In the "src" subfolder, open the file "navix.py", by right clicking on it, selecting open, then choosing wordpad or notepad to open it.
Search for the word 'password'. Your first result should look like this:
self.password = "" #parental control password.
Basically, in between the quotation marks, there is nothing, but the program doesn't respond to no password being entered. Fill in any password you want between the quotation marks. Save the file. Go back to Navi-X in XBMC and exit it if it was running, then re-enter. Try the password you just created in the navix.py file.

Hey sptuck,
I created a "Debugging and Testing Playlist" in Navi-Xtreme at this time. It's a good start but I will revise it with more gritty details and such at a later time. It should help you playback most everything though if you can play all this playlist via Navi-X for Playon. I didn't include a link for "html" in the list cause I wasn't sure if Playon could parse/bring it up or not.
You can either search for my playlist in Navi-Xtreme for "Debugging and Testing Playlist" or go to iRoNBiLL's Playlist and then click on the playlist below.
Here is the link to it if you want to see the playlist output as well... open it in a text editor to read it.

Good luck with testing!

@iRoNBiLL, thanks! This will help to finish this up. PlayOn Navi-X can already play a lot of these, so I'm on my way!

Of all of the things I am hoping for I hope this script works well on my Wired WD Live. This is the TV in the house that needs the content most.
Look forward to getting started on the testing.

The Navi-X processor engine works great integrated in PlayOn. Although, it took me a few days to figure out exactly how it does what it's doing and how exactly to implement it. Navi-X "search by text/keywords" functions will be disabled(not appear) in the PlayOn version because PlayOn is not capable of this(an most likely never will be because it is not a full-fledged browser).
"FAVORITES FOLDER" : Users will be able to enter their favorite playlists in PlayOn settings in the final release.
I don't have an ETA for the alpha yet. Depends how much "real" work I have the next few days. I will try to sneak it in as soon as I can.

As am I. I believe I'll be off most of the week next week and if by chance it's done by then, I'll have plenty of time to monkey around with it. I even have an idea for an icon if anyone is interested.... I use it for my Navi-X files on my PC:

Hey Xavier,
Glad to see you made it over here!
I also updated the "Debugging and Testing Playlist" for those in Navi-X who are running testing at this time (hint, hint sptuck, cough!
It now includes links for rss:video, audio, and image + types "html_youtube" and "opml" as well. This playlist should now contain every piece of media that can be brought in via Navi-X. I even put a few videos with file formats listed for testing file containers.
Can't wait to see your work finished sptuck! Good luck and talk to you soon!

Hey sptuck!
I see a while back you made it so Playon could aggregate content to Roku and they ended up giving you hell about it! Is it just me or is the Roku community one big thunderlog that flopped out of my rear??
I can't believe they tried debating legality issues with you as if everyone on that forum had a law degree... news flash, they're geeks not lawyers, ROFL!!
Hey sptuck, let me know if the Roku community gets upity with you again!
I'll crap on them from a place so high, God will have to look up.
I tried asking them if there was anyone interested in porting Navi-X to Roku a while back and they all pretty much gave me the finger... now, any chance I get I like to throw a little salt in their wounds to put them in check. I figure one good slap on the cheek deserves another...
I think a tweet on Twitter I found the other day says it all...
here's a couple of Tweets I threw in their direction...
"You couldn't pay me to use a Roku player. The apps on it blow so much, I thought a prostitute would pop out and AT LEAST give me a hand job!"
"Then a re-tweet I found which says it all... There are no "Used" @Boxee Boxes on Amazon for sale. There are plenty of used ROKUs though. Just sayin'"
Now i hate the Roku community with a passion... they don't deserve to stick around. Check out their threads and you'll see where they basically told me to go F' myself, ha!

iRoNBiLL, I wasn't the person who created the PlayOn plugin for the Roku, but I sure as hell defended it!! As far as I know, the Roku community and staff gave the finger to the entire PlayOn community. They aren't even allowed to bring the topic up! I don't even know why Roku has a private developer API, when they could pull the plug on a plugin just because. Quite a bunch, I'll tell ya!

My next device will be a Western Digital.
Any chance someone can shoot me a test message. I've never sent one and not sure if the couple I sent actually got anywhere. I just don't want to miss the word when testing on devices needs to be done!
