This is just an FYI.
On Saturday my Movie2K stopped working. By that I mean that when you went out to Movie2K, the folders were there - but if you opened a folder, you got the message 'The selected folder contains no media items'. I kept waiting to see someone else post that they weren't able to access anything under Movie2k, but they didn't. Which made me believe that the problem was my own. This morning, I started checking my Malwarebytes logs - and sure enough starting on Saturday, Malwarebytes started blocking my access to the movie2k sites as 'malicious sites'.
The IP addresses being blocked are:
109.163.226.243
109.163.226.18
93.114.44.210
Once I added these to my Malwarebytes ignore list, I now have access to all the folders with the exception of 'Movies-Featured'. I am still working on trying to get access to that one.

I'm having some issues with certain links on M2K, Putlocker and Sockshare primarily. The strange thing is that they work through TVLinks for me but almost never show a video when using M2K. Another thing I notice is that the few times I can get one to show videos, it doesn't always show all available parts if the video has been split into 2 or 3 pieces, as is the case on M2K sometimes. A perfect example would be Never Sleep Again: The Elm Street Legacy. It's a rather long documentary and it's split into 3 parts. I can watch them on the M2K website, but the script through Playon only pulls the 1st part, or none in the case of Putlocker and Sockshare. I just noticed that the only one that shows all available parts for me on that particular movie is Uploadc (which I cannot get to play through my media player or 360).
I will say that for the videos I've tried to watch that are not split, I've had nothing but success so far.
I just had a look at the log file and I seem to be getting the same error a lot
Error: (load) LuaInterface.LuaScriptException: ...rogram FilesMediaMallpluginsScriptsm2k-clean.lua:1417: attempt to concatenate a nil value

I deleted files, uninstalled the script, reinstalled the script....basically whatever I could think of and I still have no luck with some of the video hosts. It's even more frustrating because those same hosts (putlocker, sockshare, etc) will work through the M2K website or through the TVLinks script. Does anyone have any ideas that might work for me?

as you all can see- ive been away
now that i'm back, i wanted to mention a couple things. 1. putlocker and sockshare have changed their code and secured their links. many of these links now do not work because of that. however i am still working on finding a way to make them work with playon again. until then, some other hosts are being added so you may want to test those.
also the last updates forced me to update the code to require the new api for playon. the old version will not work- but this is necessary to allow for more links to work as hosts are going away.
jsapp - its funny you mention that. i had the exact same problem! i almost gutted the entire script trying to figure out why m2k wasnt working - but then i allowed those hosts and it worked for me too over the weekend.
tssarack can you email me the full log file you have? i can try and figure out where the errors are coming from based on your log.
lucky - if you can also email me your log file, i'd like to see what is happening

I have a Sony Media Player SMP-N100 and every time I try to watch a movie, it plays for roughly 50 min to an hour then it just stops and goes back to the movie file menu. I can click to choose the movie again but it starts from the beginning. It plays TV shows flawlessly.
I'm having this same problem as well. I'm wondering if it's the media player itself since I'm also using an SMP-N100 on one TV. And it's not just this script that I've had that problem with.
**update**
Nevermind, I found that the problem is indeed the SMP-N100. I just found a post on the PlayOn site regarding the SMP series of players and sure enough nothing seems to play beyond 1h7m. Strange. Maybe Sony will fix it in a firmware upgrade.

Halburta,
Sounds like you are using the new PlayOn channel for Roku. A lot of scripts time out with the new channel and PlayOn support will just blame the script. Try adding the old PlayOn channel ---> https://owner.roku.com/Add/PlayOn. See if that helps.

towersooter,
thanks for the quick response. it seemed to help, but now i get "video request failure -an unexpected problem (but not a server timeout or http error)has been detected". i have deleted .llf's, allowed cookies, removed malwarebytes, rebooted, turned on and off numerous times. what am i not doing correctly?

Halburta,
I am getting the same "video playback failure" error with tv links. As soon as you
hit play for any tv or movie the error message appears immediately, the "preparing stream wheel"
does not even start. I wonder if it isn't a firewall issue. I have an att gateway. Other scripts
like tv pack 2 and ice films play fine.
I am reluctant to buy this script if I am going to have the same problem. Running playon on
roku 2xd and windows 7 pc. ANY HELP WOULD BE GREATLY APPRECIATED.

I just tried the 1st five featured movies and had no problems. I also decided to catch up on the second season of Lost Girl and things seem to be fine. I am running Movie2k Clean version 1.5.0 and Playon version 3.5.0.3075 on a Windows 7 64bit i7 system. Also after installing the new version of Playon I did need to reboot my computer.

thanks dwanthyny-
i will also mention that yes, there is a possibility of a firewall blocking m2k from working. I run malwarebytes and noticed that m2k stopped working on my side - yet no one else was complaining that day.. in troubleshooting i found that malwarebytes was blocking that host - so i turned off website blocking and it began working again.
if you have other firewall/antivirus software running, you may have to run a similar test by turning it off- to see if that is impacting it.
otherwise, one thing both of you may want to do is delete the libvideosites.llf file and restart playon as tvlinks and m2k both use it.. and it gets corrupted at times

Does TVLinks work for you? They both use the same library. If it doesn't work can you go to the website and play the video?

tvlinks (through m2k plugin) do not work either, folder empty error or gives me links then folder error. on movies sometimes i get a picture on the play/return page but no description, and wont play. can play everything by visiting m2k directly. also i can access my media and all other "apps" through playon just m2k that gives a prob.
i have been using replay media catcher to catch streems and can immediately watch through mymedia in playon while it is still "catching it", but to just use the remote and not have to use that extra step would be great
