Agent89,
I tried running the program from a shortcut and keep getting a \"MyWinDownloader has stopped working\" error as soon as I run the shortcut. I tried running as an admin, in XP compatability all error out the same.
I\'m using the command line:
C:\\Updates\\MyDownloaderWin.exe \" http://sites.google.com/site/playonscripts/files/PlayOn_Channel_Offline.flv\" \"C:\\Updates\"
Does this command work on your machine?
Thanks,
hotTamale
I having the same issue even with the latest version on a windows 7 x64 machine as well, any suggestions?
Thanks,

mardukme,
What is happening? Could you put the url you are trying to download? Have you tried using it in conjunction with the script? If so, what parameters are you using? it should be "{downloadurl}" "C:\DestDir"

Original I was unable to download a show using playon using the program you had wrote. So I decided to use a shortcut to see if i had set it up correctly. I decided to use hotTamle video example. Here is the parameter I used within the shorcut, " http://sites.google.com/site/playonscripts/files/tvchannelpack/PlayOn_Channel_Offline.flv" "C:VideosIceDown"
An here is the parameter line I am using in Playon, "{downloadurl}" "C:VideosIceDown"
The error message I get when running the shorcut is MyDownloaderWin has stopped working, and the only option I have is to close program.
thanks,
Mardukeme

Would someone please, please help me? I have tried using Hottamale's IDM to download and the other download by Agent89 but not working on my Windows 7...
A guide for "Dummie's"...lol! Don't understand while pasting my path in command line...should I delete the /q/n/d...and possibly the {downloadurl} portion before my path?
I know it should be straight forward but it just isn't clicking. Thank you so very much guy's!!

The problem is that that url does not exist, it returns a 404 error. I did release an updated version that return that feedback rather then crash. please try that latest version of the app, I posted links on page 4.
lazya1:
The parameters for command line is like this for my app:
"{downloadurl}" "C:DownloadDest"
Keep the quotes.
I hope this helps.

Agent89,
I tried using a different media url within the shorcut, using your latest version of the program. The program opens up and within a second later and I get the same error. Below is the parameter within the shorcut that I am using, not sure if I'm doing something wrong.
"C:Program Files (x86)MyDownloaderWinMyDownloaderWin.exe" " http://www26.megaupload.com/files/677f2afdd2479fbb9ce24f9373752cca/l-pa2.avi" "C:VideosIceDown"
The only reason I'm creating the shorcut is for some reason I can not get your program to download a video using Icefilms script. The parameters I have configured within the script are as follows.
Path: C:Program Files (x86)MyDownloaderWinMyDownloaderWin.exe
Params: "{downloadurl}" "C:Videos\IceDown"
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks,
mardukeme

I did not have any trouble downloading with the parameters you provided. Could you please take a screenshot of the error, and if it is a "stopped working" error, could you post the "details".
Thanks,

Sorry for the issues. Below is an updated version and should log any errors you get. If you can pass those to me, I can find the root of the problem.

It looks like it's crashing immediately, not even getting to the part to log it. Does the form(window) open at all?
If not, what OS are you running? Do you have .NET Framework do you have installed?
Here is a version that uses .NET 2.0 Framework, which most people should have install nowadays, please try it:

Agent89,
I tried the latest version that uses the .NET 2 version on a Win 7 64bit system, and this version works fine. What was different between this version and the previous versions, does it have to do with .net? I have .net framework version 4 currently innstalled on my pc.
***Update***
I reinstalled the .net again and tried using your previous version that you had posted the created the directory, and it worked fine. Using the shorcut method, and within playon itself. I guess my version of .net was corrupted. Agent89 thanks for your help and patience.
Thanks,
Mardukeme

hT,
I think this is the best version out there, if you want to test it and put in it in your notes for the plugin:

This one also fixes the problem you were having.

Agent89,
Thanks for the update. I'm checking it out now. I'm also adding a way to add a the title as the filename with the {filename} parameter. If you decide to add this to the DL program please let me know and I'll update the docs.

What is the 100 for, that is in options, next to "Display A-Z Paged Records"? Is it the maximum number of pages? Does changing the number affect anything?
