@thorhays,
The archive "feature" was removed two versions ago. It didn't work as expected. Please update your version of the script.
@mardukeme,
Glad your enjoying it. The only issue I had was that the only download manager that offered command line support cost $25. If anyone has a suggestion please pass it along.

I am having problems with the movie " And now the darkness" I watched the first part fine but part 2 and part 3 say the folder is empty and the files may have been removed. But if I go to the MEGAVIDO website these parts are there and I can watch them.
Also I think it would be GREAT if you created a ROKU channel for ICEFILMS.

If you are talking about And soon the darkness, I tried both links on the site and the script and both worked for me. Are you a premium account holder? If so, have you entered your id/pw in the options section.
A Roku channel would be cool, but would require learning RoKu's scripting language. You can still use this on your RoKu using the PlayOn channel. I believe the private channel name is MYPLAYON.

Hey hottamale,
What's happening at Ice Films/Megavideo again. It seems that pretty much any "network" show (ABC, NBC, CBS, FOX) show up as "Video not currently available... blah blah blah" but when I check on the website its there. I can even download them via your new handy dandy downloader (gracias). This script used to ROCK, well it still ROCKS but just a little bit less than before.
Any help? I tried all your tricks (regedit/delete/download new/etc.) and no luck.

fretboy,
Your issue is pretty vague, can you give me some examples of shows/episodes with this issue? Also, keep in mind that many times with Megavideo a uploaded file may exist but a comparable streaming video may not. This is usually why you can download but not watch. An easy way to check this on the site is to click all the way through to Megaupload and if a View on Megavideo link exists then then video should show in the script if not then it should not appear in the script. Another thing to keep in mind is that these are not licensed uploads so the content owner may have them removed at any time.

Here is small app I quickly wrote for downloading the files.
http://www.megaupload.com/?d=MO1QCRU4
the arguments are:
"{downloadurl}" "E:\DownloadTest"
leave the trailing slash off of the destination location.

Agent 89 is that you?
Hey thanks for the app. When I tried it on my machine the first time it threw an error because I didn't have the params correct. Then when I set them up correctly it started then dropped out, no errors. Was this compiled so it would work on a 64 bit system (Win7)?
Also, have you tried downloading a large file or files to see if the MV limit shows up?
Thanks again,
hotTamale

I wrote it on Win7 x64. did it drop out early, or did it complete and did the file work?
No, I haven't done extensive testing on it, but every file I try and let it go all the way it finished properly. Please let me know if there are any specific videos you were unable to download so I can check them out.

Hi Guys,
I'm having a problem with the new download functionality. I just signed up for the premium mv account and decided to delete my existing ice and tvlinks plugins and reg keys, re-downloaded the newest versions and plugged in my premium account info (and enabled the file download option). I've since restarted the playon services a few times.
I think my premium acct info is working since I tested an episode of Dexter and it was much clearer and faster than before with my former free account. (is there a way to truly confirm?)
When I hit the download link, I get the "Could not get premium download URL followed by an error getting download info. This happens from playon on both my iphone and roku.
I've downloaded/installed IDM and verified that it works straight from the mv site when I'm logged in, so I'm thinking I goofed something in the Ice download setup.
Here's what I have for the two settings under download application (and it's 32bit win7):
C:\Program Files\Internet Download Manager\IDMan.exe
/q /n /d "{downloadurl}" /p C:\Users\play\Videos
Am I missing something obvious here? The plugin seems to be working properly and is definitely the most up to date.
Thanks SO much for any help or advice!

One more note, I just tried step 3 of hotTamale troubleshooting steps where I hard code my user info in to the ice script and now the URL error message is gone. I now just get the "Error getting download file information, file may be removed" error.
So close, yet so far!
Thanks

I tried a few with the same result, but I generally tried Dexter season4 episode 7 and 8. Both stream fine to roku and iphone, just won't download.
Thanks!

Hey HT,
Thanks. Your explanation actually made sense and I see it clearly as the cause of my "issue". Keep on with the great work. You rock!

Hey HT,
Have you had a chance to put any more thought in to my error? Absolutely nothing will download through the download function of the app at this point, but all works from the PC and I'm 99% sure that my premium account is working through the script.
For grins, I tried manually running the IDM command line and inserting a URL for an episode of Dexter and that kicked off the download without error, so it must be something to do with how the "{downloadurl}" is collected.
I also tried making the path to the videos directory very short (C:\videos).
Thanks so much!

Agent89,
I tried running the program from a shortcut and keep getting a "MyWinDownloader has stopped working" error as soon as I run the shortcut. I tried running as an admin, in XP compatability all error out the same.
I'm using the command line:
C:\Updates\MyDownloaderWin.exe " http://sites.google.com/site/playonscripts/files/PlayOn_Channel_Offline.flv" "C:\Updates"
Does this command work on your machine?
Thanks,
hotTamale

Agent89,
Worked like a champ on my XP machine, I'll try it again later on the Win7 one. Might have been auth issues as well.
I've posted the link to the file and instructions on it's use.
Thanks again,

hey tamale,
I had an idea, if you were able to capture the name of the Movie/Show, I could make it so you can pass it into the download app to make filenames cleaner? What are your thoughts?
Example:
I want to download Black Swan, you capture "Black Swan(2010)", the name of the folder on icefilms.
Now, tv shows/episodes may be a bit more difficult, you know, to capture the show name and episode number.
Just a thought, let me know. It's just those file name are so ugly and long.
