I'm still not getting anything. There's no option to update the archive, and if I click on a movie or episode I either get "No Videos were found" or "Add show to favorites." If I click on a favorites link, all I get is a "remove show from favorites" link. What has gone wrong??

FW,
Have you restarted the PlayOn server, this is not the same as restarting playon settings. You should then select the script from a client device.
You can also try downloading dirctly from here https://sites.google.com/site/playonscripts/files/scripts/Ice_Films.lua and then restart the Playon server.
The update archive feature has been removed and will most likely not return. See previous posts.

I'm not sure what this means. I've rebooted the entire computer a couple of times. I've stopped and then started the Playon server every time I change anything. I'm using Playon with a SageTV extender, so I just start the "script" by clicking on the Ice Films link in the extender. Is that what you mean? Anyway, like I said, it hasn't worked for several days, and rebooting everything doesn't help. So... what now?

First time writing here...
Thank you hottamale for a great plugin. I have been using it for many months.
I was having the same problem as the poster above. Tried eveything. It had automatically updated when you changed the script on July 2nd and everything was working fine for a day or two after that, and then nothing had any sources.
I took your advice and copied the script from the Google site and now everything is working fine again. I wish I had had the foresight not to just overwrite the script because then I could have told you what was differences were between the auto-update the download from google.
But whatever - I hope this helps other people who may be in the same situation.
Thanks again!

Ice was hacked again this week. There are no movies available. Any idea if and when it will be up?

Replaced the file. Stopped and restarted the Playon server. Even rebooted the whole system. Still no luck.

Site appears to be back up. I think I found the issue with the updater, I seem to have two different versions of the script out there with the same version number. I've uploaded a new version number, 183, to replace all other versions. Hope this fixes any updater issues.

I read on one of the help sites that you need to change the underline_space to a regular space in the script name, but that advice isn't generally given and it seems weird. Anyway, when I do that I get a message that the premium version can't be found and that the download link doesn't work, but I do get an MV version that I can play. So after I change it back to Ice_Films.lua I get the same "no videos found" message. What the heck is going on? Why isn't the name of the script the way it's supposed to be when you download it? Also, I noticed that the favorites database name used the underline spaces so why would a regular space be required for the script name? I'm thoroughly confused. Nothing seems to be working correctly.

The correct file name for IF files are
Ice_Films.lua
libMegaVideo Premium.llf (Requires space)
Scrape_Page.llf
The issue was with automatic downloads from this site. The site added an underline for any spaces in the file name but if you downloaded the file it left the space in, so when a script updated itself you ended up with two copies of the same script. All my current scripts have an underscore in place of the spaces to eliminate this issue. I just checked and the MV library downloads correctly (with space).
I have no idea why you are having such issues. I'd try renaming the scripts folder and redownloading the Ice_Films script (use direct link) then restart PlayOn server and select the script from a client device, select to install the required libraries and the script should start running at this point. Also try disabling any antivirus scanners or firewalls during this test. One of thesze may be keeping the script from downloading properly.

There's a place in the Megavideo preferences to indicate which port to use as the download port. What should I set that at? Also, I can see the MV version now that I've renamed the file with an underscore instead of a space, but it still says that it "could not get premium download url, the file may have been removed, or the Megavideo account may not be premium." Obviously the file is there if I can play the MV link, and I've checked that my account name and password are correct and that I have a premium account. If I click on the download link (instead of the MV link) I get another link that says "could not get premium... etc." and another link that says "error getting download file information, etc."
Also, I've tried some other links for TV shows, and I sometimes get "no page found" for shows that I've previously downloaded. In addition, if I use TVLinks to search for a show and get a Megavideo link it will generally work... even though the same show doesn't show up under Ice_Films. But that's pretty much always been the case. All I can think of is that perhaps I need to change the account preferences to specify a different download port. But since it *was* working last week, I don't see why I'd need to do that.

Finally tracked the problem down to the Megavideo preferences. There was a "direct download" option that apparently does the exact opposite of what you'd expect, so I changed that and it seems to work. Couldn't ever get the Agent89 application to work so had to buy the IDMan.exe license. The problem is that it doesn't seem to be entirely compatible with Windows 7 command line mode, so I keep getting an Interactive Services Detection message and the downloads don't seem to be documented in the main program. Also, it's not clear that the downloads will even start unless I click on the message thing and actually start the download from the dialogue box. Bit of a nuisance, but at least it works.

I just downloaded this plugin and noticed where someone mentioned that the options appeared after a reboot, so I tried that. I still cannot see the options in the playon plugins tab.

Hi HT, Just a little bump in the road here. When I select a video to play, if I I want to download it it says "path not found" I have put a path in Playon settings>Icefilms>options?
