trying to play the nfl network
http://www.thefirstrow.eu/watch/49037/1/watch-nfl-network.html
i can view the video just fine in mozilla or internet explorer. once the video goes thru playon and on my tv, the video is real choppy. i'm still pretty new to the programming in lua, but i've tried different things here and there to no avail.
any help will be appreciated

I know what you mean. I am making a sports plugin, and this really complicates matters. With RTMP streams like the one you linked to, I am browsing to the code where the player is initialized and passing variables to PlayOn. Only problem I have hit so far is from is the lack of support for RTMP loadbalancers and RTMPE streamers. I think the only way to get that going correctly is to pass it through a local flowplayer or jwplayer and then to PlayOn like in libRedirectMedia.

i didn't you know you could do that. with that website i listed, the baseball games want to played thru a program called stream torrent. i see that use windows media player codec, i believe. with what you said, would it then be possible to play the baseball games?

No, stream torrent is different. I haven't looked into it much yet. Though it is very early in development, most Baseball games are currently working in my script. I can send you copy if you're interested.

of course, who wants to watch the royals and twins, two worst teams in the AL.
